*Kellan Lutz Was Supposed To Read For Edward Cullen
But he turned it down!
Kellan Lutz revealed to Ryan Seacrest that he was supposed to audition for the role of Edward Cullen in The Twilight Saga, but he wasn't interested!
He says:
"I was doing [HBO's] Generation Kill and was sent the script in Africa. I put it off, then finally read it and by the time I got back to L.A., they said, 'OK, are you ready to audition for Edward?' I said, 'I don't want to play Edward. He's too complex, too depressing for me.'"
Only after Kellan turned down the audition was he asked to read for the part of Emmett Cullen and he agreed because Emmett is "one of those fun-loving characters" that he enjoys playing.
The hunky actor is confident in his choice when asked if he has any regrets about not auditioning for Edward saying:
"No. Fame is fame. And Rob [Pattinson] is handling it like a champ. Everything that comes with this whole phenomenon is breathtaking. I don't think anybody could prepare you for something like this. I'm so happy with Emmett. I don't care to be famous."
R-Patz is just about the most famous male on the planet and although he's one handsome fella, he surely has the role of Edward to thank for that.

LOS ANGELES, Calif. --
From 50 Cent to Julianne Hough, “The Twilight Saga: New Moon” premiere brought out a host of celebrity fans in Los Angeles eager to see the newest big screen installment in Stephenie Meyer’s popular vampire franchise.
“I’m Team Edward!” former “Dancing With the Stars” professional-turned-country cutie Julianne told Access Hollywood’s Shaun Robinson. “[He’s] more mysterious.”
50 Cent, AKA Curtis Jackson, was a red carpet surprise to many at Monday’s premiere, but he revealed he’s actually a fan of “Twilight.”
“I got a chance to see the first film and I’m excited too,” he told Shaun. “I came out to enjoy the festivities.”
But when asked if he was Team Edward or Team Jacob, 50 said he straddles the vampire-werewolf divide.
“I’m somewhere in the middle,” the rapper-actor said. “I like to see both of them. It’s just the enjoyment of the entire project.”
Mark Salling, who plays “Glee’s” meathead Noah Puckerman, said he ventured out because he has delved into the print version of the series.
“I sit in a dark room and read the books by candle light to Taylor’s picture and [with] a rose in my ear,” he joked. “I’m a huge fan.
“I’m really anxious to see the movie,” he added. “It’s a trip.”
When asked how the Gleeks (the nickname given to “Glee” fans) compare to Twi-Hards, Mark said they actually aren’t that different.
“I think there’s a little crossover,” he smiled. “I think you can be a little of both, but I think this is a little darker… They’re all loyal.”
Bon Jovi guitarist Richie Sambora was another celeb who made it to the LA event, and his daughter with Heather Locklear – Ava — revealed she was ready to see some ab-tastic werewolves.
“I’m Team Jacob,” she smiled. “First of all, I think Edward’s the slightest bit creepy. I’m kind of on [Jacob’s] side.”
Other stars at the event included “90210’s” Jessica Stroup, “Lost’s” Emilie de Ravin, Emma Roberts, “So You Think You Can Dance’s” Cat Deely and Mary Murphy,” “Ghost Whisperer’s” Jennifer Love Hewitt and beau Jamie Kennedy, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Elle Fanning and rocker Joan Jett, who Kristen Stewart is playing in the upcoming “Runaways” film.
“I’ll be Team Kristen,” Joan laughed. “How about that!”

Μεταξύ των βραβείων που διεκδικεί το "Twilight" είναι το Favorite Movie και το On-screen team για τους Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart και Taylor Lautner. Ο Robert Pattinson διεκδικεί ακόμα το βραβείο Favorite Movie Actor ενώ ο Taylor Lautner διεκδικεί το βραβείο Breakout Movie Actor. Η Kristen Stewart από την πλευρά της είναι υποψήφια στην κατηγορία Favorite Movie Actress.

Οι σταρ του "The Twilight Saga: New Moon" μετά τη Γαλλία και τη Μεγάλη Βρετανία ταξίδεψαν στην Ισπανία για την προώθηση της ταινίας τους.
Ο Robert Pattinson, η Kristen Stewart, ο Taylor Lautner και ο σκηνοθέτης Chris Weitz βρέθηκαν την Πέμπτη, 12 Νοεμβρίου, στη Μαδρίτη για την προώθηση του φιλμ τους, το οποίο θα κάνει πρεμιέρα στη μεγάλη οθόνη την ερχόμενη εβδομάδα.
Την Τετάρτη, 11 Νοεμβρίου, οι σταρ του "The Twilight Saga: New Moon" παραβρέθηκαν στο fan event που πραγματοποιήθηκε στο Λονδίνο για την προώθηση της ταινίας. Μόλις έφθασαν στο κόκκινο χαλί του fan event ο Robert Pattinson, η Kristen Stewart και ο Taylor Lautner οι εκατοντάδες θαυμαστές τους τους αποθέωσαν.
Οι τρεις σταρ του "The Twilight Saga: New Moon" δήλωσαν στους δημοσιογράφους πως ήταν απίστευτη η υποδοχή που τους επεφύλασσαν οι φανς τους στο Λονδίνο. Στο event παραβρέθηκε και ο σκηνοθέτης της ταινίας Chris Weitz.

*Ενισχύονται οι φήμες για Pattinson και Stewart
Οι φήμες που θέλουν τον Robert Pattinson και την Kristen Stewart να είναι ζευγάρι ενισχύθηκαν από μία πρόσφατη συνέντευξη της Catherine Hardwicke, η οποία σκηνοθέτησε το "Twilight".
Η Hardwicke σε συνέντευξή της σε γνωστό περιοδικό αποκάλυψε πως είχε προειδοποιήσει τον Pattinson να μην κάνει σχέση με την Stewart καθώς τότε εκείνη ήταν ακόμα ανήλικη. "Είπα στον Rob: μην σκεφτείς να κάνεις σχέση μαζί της... Είναι κάτω των 18 ετών και θα καταλήξεις στη φυλακή" δήλωσε χαρακτηριστικά η Hardwicke.
Η διάσημη σκηνοθέτις τόνισε πως δεν μπορεί να επιβεβαιώσει εάν η σχέση των δύο σταρ ξεκίνησε κατά τη διάρκεια των γυρισμάτων του "Twilight" ή αργότερα. "Απ ότι μου είπε η Kristen, τίποτα δεν έγινε μεταξύ τους κατά τη διάρκεια της πρώτης ταινίας" δήλωσε χαρακτηριστικά η Hardwicke ενώ πρόσθεσε πως η Stewart χρειάστηκε αρκετό καιρό για να καταλάβει πως έπρεπε να δώσει μία ευκαιρία στη σχέση αυτή και να είναι μαζί με τον γοητευτικό συμπρωταγωνιστή της.

Kristen Stewart took time out of her busy New Moon promotion schedule to attend the 2009 Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation Walk To Cure Diabetes at Dodger Stadium on Sunday.
The Twilight star joined Sugar Ray Leonard for the event and even looked like she had a good time!
At least she is smiling!

Twilight co-stars Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson are reportedly living together while in Vancouver to film the latest in the popular franchise. According to More magazine, the pair has rented out an entire floor of the Sheraton Wall Centre Hotel — with each suite running $850 a night — in order to maintain their privacy. “They have two rooms joined by a door,” a source says. “They use a third suite on the floor to listen to music or watch Blu-ray movies on a large, flat screen, when they stay in after a day’s shooting or on weekends.”
