*Kellan Lutz Was Supposed To Read For Edward Cullen

But he turned it down!
Kellan Lutz revealed to Ryan Seacrest that he was supposed to audition for the role of Edward Cullen in The Twilight Saga, but he wasn't interested!
He says:
"I was doing [HBO's] Generation Kill and was sent the script in Africa. I put it off, then finally read it and by the time I got back to L.A., they said, 'OK, are you ready to audition for Edward?' I said, 'I don't want to play Edward. He's too complex, too depressing for me.'"
Only after Kellan turned down the audition was he asked to read for the part of Emmett Cullen and he agreed because Emmett is "one of those fun-loving characters" that he enjoys playing.
The hunky actor is confident in his choice when asked if he has any regrets about not auditioning for Edward saying:
"No. Fame is fame. And Rob [Pattinson] is handling it like a champ. Everything that comes with this whole phenomenon is breathtaking. I don't think anybody could prepare you for something like this. I'm so happy with Emmett. I don't care to be famous."
R-Patz is just about the most famous male on the planet and although he's one handsome fella, he surely has the role of Edward to thank for that.

*50 Cent, Julianne Hough & ‘Glee’ Stars Celebrate ‘New Moon’ Premiere

LOS ANGELES, Calif. --
From 50 Cent to Julianne Hough, “The Twilight Saga: New Moon” premiere brought out a host of celebrity fans in Los Angeles eager to see the newest big screen installment in Stephenie Meyer’s popular vampire franchise.

“I’m Team Edward!” former “Dancing With the Stars” professional-turned-country cutie Julianne told Access Hollywood’s Shaun Robinson. “[He’s] more mysterious.”

50 Cent, AKA Curtis Jackson, was a red carpet surprise to many at Monday’s premiere, but he revealed he’s actually a fan of “Twilight.”
“I got a chance to see the first film and I’m excited too,” he told Shaun. “I came out to enjoy the festivities.”

But when asked if he was Team Edward or Team Jacob, 50 said he straddles the vampire-werewolf divide.
“I’m somewhere in the middle,” the rapper-actor said. “I like to see both of them. It’s just the enjoyment of the entire project.”

Mark Salling, who plays “Glee’s” meathead Noah Puckerman, said he ventured out because he has delved into the print version of the series.
“I sit in a dark room and read the books by candle light to Taylor’s picture and [with] a rose in my ear,” he joked. “I’m a huge fan.
“I’m really anxious to see the movie,” he added. “It’s a trip.”
When asked how the Gleeks (the nickname given to “Glee” fans) compare to Twi-Hards, Mark said they actually aren’t that different.
“I think there’s a little crossover,” he smiled. “I think you can be a little of both, but I think this is a little darker… They’re all loyal.”

Bon Jovi guitarist Richie Sambora was another celeb who made it to the LA event, and his daughter with Heather Locklear – Ava — revealed she was ready to see some ab-tastic werewolves.

“I’m Team Jacob,” she smiled. “First of all, I think Edward’s the slightest bit creepy. I’m kind of on [Jacob’s] side.”

Other stars at the event included “90210’s” Jessica Stroup, “Lost’s” Emilie de Ravin, Emma Roberts, “So You Think You Can Dance’s” Cat Deely and Mary Murphy,” “Ghost Whisperer’s” Jennifer Love Hewitt and beau Jamie Kennedy, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Elle Fanning and rocker Joan Jett, who Kristen Stewart is playing in the upcoming “Runaways” film.
“I’ll be Team Kristen,” Joan laughed. “How about that!”

Την Τετάρτη, 11 Νοεμβρίου, οι σταρ του "The Twilight Saga: New Moon" παραβρέθηκαν στο fan event που πραγματοποιήθηκε στο Λονδίνο για την προώθηση της ταινίας. Μόλις έφθασαν στο κόκκινο χαλί του fan event ο Robert Pattinson, η Kristen Stewart και ο Taylor Lautner οι εκατοντάδες θαυμαστές τους τους αποθέωσαν.

Οι τρεις σταρ του "The Twilight Saga: New Moon" δήλωσαν στους δημοσιογράφους πως ήταν απίστευτη η υποδοχή που τους επεφύλασσαν οι φανς τους στο Λονδίνο. Στο event παραβρέθηκε και ο σκηνοθέτης της ταινίας Chris Weitz.

*Ενισχύονται οι φήμες για Pattinson και Stewart

Οι φήμες που θέλουν τον Robert Pattinson και την Kristen Stewart να είναι ζευγάρι ενισχύθηκαν από μία πρόσφατη συνέντευξη της Catherine Hardwicke, η οποία σκηνοθέτησε το "Twilight".

Η Hardwicke σε συνέντευξή της σε γνωστό περιοδικό αποκάλυψε πως είχε προειδοποιήσει τον Pattinson να μην κάνει σχέση με την Stewart καθώς τότε εκείνη ήταν ακόμα ανήλικη. "Είπα στον Rob: μην σκεφτείς να κάνεις σχέση μαζί της... Είναι κάτω των 18 ετών και θα καταλήξεις στη φυλακή" δήλωσε χαρακτηριστικά η Hardwicke.

Η διάσημη σκηνοθέτις τόνισε πως δεν μπορεί να επιβεβαιώσει εάν η σχέση των δύο σταρ ξεκίνησε κατά τη διάρκεια των γυρισμάτων του "Twilight" ή αργότερα. "Απ ότι μου είπε η Kristen, τίποτα δεν έγινε μεταξύ τους κατά τη διάρκεια της πρώτης ταινίας" δήλωσε χαρακτηριστικά η Hardwicke ενώ πρόσθεσε πως η Stewart χρειάστηκε αρκετό καιρό για να καταλάβει πως έπρεπε να δώσει μία ευκαιρία στη σχέση αυτή και να είναι μαζί με τον γοητευτικό συμπρωταγωνιστή της.

Twilight co-stars Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson are reportedly living together while in Vancouver to film the latest in the popular franchise. According to More magazine, the pair has rented out an entire floor of the Sheraton Wall Centre Hotel — with each suite running $850 a night — in order to maintain their privacy. “They have two rooms joined by a door,” a source says. “They use a third suite on the floor to listen to music or watch Blu-ray movies on a large, flat screen, when they stay in after a day’s shooting or on weekends.”

Twilight stars Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart reportedly spent the night together at the Chateau Marmont on October 29th followed by a bagel breakfast and a private screening of New Moon.
A source reveals:

"Rob wanted a cigarette so he went outside with Kristen for about 15 minutes. They were hugging, as Rob was smoking his cigarette and then he leaned down and kissed her on the lips. He had his arm around her almost the whole time."

Sounds like "Robsten" is on! But what did they think of the movie?

"They were really happy with the way it turned out and gave great feedback."

Ο βρυκόλακας Kellan Lutz στο νέο remake A Nightmare On Elm Street (ο Εφιάλτης στο δρόμο με τις Λεύκες). Ο Lutz που έγινε διάσημος μέσα απο την γνωστή ταινία Twilight θα είναι πολύ πιθανόν το επόμενο θύμα του Freddie Krueger, (Jackie Earle Haley)
Η ταινία θα σκηνοθετηθεί απο τον γνωστό στην μουσική βιομηχανία Samuel Bayer, και μαζί με τον δίασημο συγγραφέα ταινιών τρόμου Wes Craven θα γίνει η επιμέλεια του σεναρίου για το remake. Τα γυρίσματα ξεκινούν τον Μαϊο στο Σικάγο.

Η Ashley Greene βρίσκεται σε συζητήσεις για να συμμετάσχει στην ταινία "The Apparition".
Η παραγωγή της ταινίας έχει προγραμματιστεί να ξεκινήσει τον ερχόμενο Φεβρουάριο. Την σκηνοθεσία αναμένεται να αναλάβει ο Todd Lincoln, ο οποίος έγραψε και το σενάριο.
Η Ashley Greene το 2008 συμμετείχε στην κινηματογραφική επιτυχία "Twilight", στην οποία ενσάρκωσε το ρόλο της Alice Cullen. Αυτό το μήνα η Greene επιστρέφει στη μεγάλη οθόνη με το πολυαναμενόμενο "The Twilight Saga: New Moon".

Συμφωνα με τις τελευταιες εξελιξεις η προωθηση της ταινιας "Νεα Σεληνη" γινεται ξεχωριστα απο τους ηθοποιους Robert Pattinson και Kristen Stewart.

Kαι αυτο γινεται για να κοπασουν οι φημες περι ερωτικης σχεσης αναμεσα στο ζευγαρι. Ενας κοινος τους φιλος εξηγει : "Ειναι πολυ καλοι φιλοι-και αυτο ειναι ολο...καθε φορα που φωτογραφιζονται ή δινουν συνεντευξη μαζι οι φημες οργιαζουν και οι παπαρατσι τους κυνηγανε ακομα περισσοτερο."

Kristen Stewart, the 19-year-old star of theTwilight franchise, knows that she can come across as sullen and self-conscious in the public eye. But during an exclusive EWroundtable in Vancouver, Canada, where the cast was prepping for their last week of theEclipse shoot and then the immediate onslaught of publicity for the November 20th release of New Moon, Stewart was funny, quick and outspoken in a wide-ranging conversation with co-stars Taylor Lautner and Robert Pattinson.
Asked about the endless rumors of her supposed off-screen romance with Pattinson, for instance, Stewart got nicely fired up. “I probably would’ve answered it if people hadn’t made such a big deal about it,” she said. “But I’m not going to give the fiending an answer. I know that people are really funny about ‘Well, you chose to be an actor, why don’t you just f—ing give your whole life away?! Can I have your firstborn child?’”
Pattinson himself, who clearly loathes confrontation, tried to softly interject with philosophical statements about the need for an actor to hold onto his individuality. But Stewart cut him off. “I’ve thought about this a lot,” she said. “There’s no answer that’s not going to tip you one way or the other. Think about every hypothetical situation: ‘Okay, we are. We aren’t. I’m a lesbian.’ I’m just trying to keep something,” she said. “If people started asking me if I was dating Taylor, I’d be like ‘F— off!’ I would answer the exact same way.” Without missing a beat, Pattinson looked at Lautner, promising “Me too.”

Τα δύο αστέρια του Twilight που βρίσκονται στο Τορόντο για τα γυρίσματα της τρίτης ταινίας της σειράς, κατάφεραν μέσα στο Σαββατοκύριακο να το… σκάσουν για λίγο από τα γυρίσματα και να περάσουν ένα ρομαντικό διήμερο μόνοι τους. Λέγεται ότι ο Pattinson, ζήτησε και έμαθε πληροφορίες για την περιοχή του Μέιν, στον Καναδά όπου έχει αρκετά μικρά ξενοδοχεία για να απομονωθεί κανείς.Κυκλοφορούσαν όλη την ώρα με καπέλα και γυαλιά ηλίου έτσι ώστε να μην τους αναγνωρίσει κανείς. Πρόσφατα πάντως υπεύθυνος παραγωγής της ταινίας, διέψευσε φήμες ότι οι δύο ηθοποιοί θα παντρευτούν σύντομα, λέγοντας ότι είναι μεν πολύ ερωτευμένοι, αλλά δεν είναι έτοιμοι να κάνουν κάτι τέτοιο γιατί είναι μικροί.
